Solar appeal decision is delayed until next week

Today, three judges have failed to reach a decision today regarding whether the Government’s appeal can be heard.
It was hope that today would be the day that the judge’s decided whether to hear a Government appeal against previous High Court ruling which branded the proposed feed-in-tariff quotes as “unlawful” on the grounds that they would come into effect before the end of the official consultation.
The consultation was due to end on 23rd December 2011, but the cuts came into effect as of the 12th December 2012.
This delay means the uncertainty of the future of the solar incentive scheme is set to continue, however the judges have hinted that they hope to make a decision before the end of next week.
