How Do Larger Scale Hot Water Systems Work
The essence to designing these systems is in working out the heat load, once we have this information we can allocate the number of opanels and water storage required.
Many large scale solar hot water systems can be as simple as a larger tank and more panels being required. For some such as apartment blocks, properties with large accomodation needs there may be the additional need for pre-heat tanks and heat exchangers to increase the efficiency and distribution of heat.
