Solar Panel Ground Mounted Systems

Ground mounted solar PV systems offer an alternative solution if land space is available and a typical roof installation is not an option.

Systems vary in size but the design and construction tend to be based on metal A-frames which are mounted in the ground, usually on some form of pile driven or screw driven footing or if necessary concrete.

The systems are robust and designed to last for 25 years and can be positioned at the optimum pitch and orientation to ensure maximum system output.

In order to design a system we require a site plan to scale and ideally some detail on the soil structure along with lots of photos showing the site and the aspects facing south.
