Freesource Energy Ltd is an independent provider of solar water heating, photovoltaic solar, wind power, heat pumps and other renewable energy products to homes and businesses.

What Sort of Renewable Energy Projects Can We Handle?

We handle all kinds of commercial, domestic and local authority  renewable energy projects on a small or large scale. Our technicians are vastly experienced and capable of handling all kinds of work from solar water heating for the home through to large scale solar PV or heat pump applications. We are also distributors for the quietrevolution qr5 vertical axis wind turbine.

We prefer to get involved as early in the project as possible as this often gets best results with system design, however we are happy to be called in for pure supply and installation work as well.

How We Work

We provide design, supply and installation services for a range of renewable energy projects.

• We advise about your energy use
• Help you save energy first
• Go through your renewable energy options such as solar thermal heating, solar power, wind power and heat pumps
• Provide a site survey and quotation
• Help with grants where applicable
• Install products using our fully qualified team

Our Accreditations

Freesource Energy are accredited under the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) scheme for solar thermal, solar PV, wind turbines and air source and ground source heat pumps.

This means we can offer the Feed In Tarriff Scheme (FITs) and in some cases grant funding where available.

We are registered competent persons under the NAPIT competent persons scheme for electrical and heating work.

Freesource Energy are also registered under the CHAS health and safety scheme enabling us to work on larger local authority schemes.
