Occupancy/PIR switches

PIR switches use heat sensors to detect when somebody is in the room and switch lights on accordingly.

These switches are also able to determine whether it is bright enough outside to not require light in order to not waste energy by turning lights on when there is enough daylight

These switches have a payback of around 20 months and can make an estimated 40% saving on electricity
