If your propery is suitable for solar thermal we will arrange for one of our surveyors to visit your property to carry out a free, no obligation survey.

Site survey

Our project surveyor will visit you and conduct a survey of your property, this allows us to provide you with a detailed and accurate quote.

Our surveys generally take between 30 minutes to 1 hour depending on your location. During the survey we require access to your roof, heating system, electrical systems and outside space.

We take time to explain how the system will work and answer any questions you might have.

After the visit you are under no obligation to buy from us. The survey is purely a technical visit designed to assist us in preparing your quotation.

Installation

Installing a solar hot water system should be carried out by a competent and accredited installer such as Freesource Energy.

By choosing an accredited installer you have more protection as a consumer should anything go wrong with the fitment and performance of your heating system.

To benefit from the Renewable Heat Premium Payment (RHPP) and the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) which is due to be introduced in the autumn of 2012 you will need to use an accredited Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) installer.

We are accredited under the MCS scheme for solar thermal, photovoltaic solar and heat pump installations as well as being registered as competent installers under the NAPIT competent persons scheme for electrical and heating works.
