How much will I make from a Solar Installation?
Factors that affect how much money you will make include where you are in the country, slope and direction of roof, shading and your choice of solar panel.
Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) is, in most parts of the country, a slight underestimate for the types of systems we install so a slightly conservative estimate is £369 per annum per kWp from the Feed-in-Tariff plus between £30 and £90 per kWp in savings on electricity (the lower figure if you kill your house during the day, the higher figure if you use all the electricity your system produces).
Here are some rough estimates of income and savings using our different panels.
Please note: These estimates assume no irregularities with the property. Actual prices and feed-in-tariff income will vary depending on location and site requirements. They also assume a FIT rate of 21p/kWh, electricity cost of 15p/unit with 5% cost inflation and 3% on RPI inflation.
